We're covering an urban legend that has haunted and terrorized the internet for years! The HAT MAN! This episode of the "Dairyland Frights," discusses the urban legend of the Hat Man, a tall silhouette of a man in a brimmed hat that appears to people. We explore various accounts of the Hat Man, its origins, and the difference between the Hat Man and shadow people. The hosts also discuss sleep paralysis, mental health conditions, and substance abuse as possible causes of seeing shadowy figures and hallucinations. They share stories from the Hatman Reddit.   

The Peshtigo fire destroyed approximately 1.5 million acres of forest in Wisconsin and parts of Michigan and ended between 1,200 and 2,400 lives. The fire consumed an estimated 17 villages and communities and decimated every building in Peshtigo and beyond.
